Hi all

I started lipotrim TFR on Tuesday 7th June. I stopped smoking a year and a half ago and put on 3 and a half stone. Now that i'be kicked the nicotine I need to get my waist line back.

Current weight 14st 9 lbs........target 11st.

How long do you think it would take to get to target so I can have a realistic idea of timescales?

Also, I read that we aren't supposed to drink more than 4 litres of water in 24hrs yet my pharmacy said to just drink away?????

Does over hydration cause an issue in regards to symptoms?

So many questions

Thanks

Hi!

I've been doing lipotrim since April 26th, and so far I've lost 41lbs. Tends to be that the more you have to lose, the quicker it will come off.
I'm also exercising a lot (for me ...probably not in comparison to proper fit people!)
I don't drink any more than 4 litres ....tho that's mainly because I feel like I'm drowning it just by drinking that amount!
Hope that helps a bit!

Hi Laurajackson

Thanks for replying and congratulations on the weight loss!!! That is fantastic :0clapper:

What is your goal?

I find the more water I drink, the thirstier I appear to get?

I haven't started exercising yet as I wanted to get the first week out of the way and deal with symptoms people warned me about like dizziness......but I have to say this hasn't been a big issue.

Did you or have you suffered many side effects?

No side effects ....apart from being a bit grumpy with my husband & 4 kids if they leave any food that I've cooked! And I have a new found addiction to the food channel!

I'm just aiming to keep going til July 15th as that's when my kids break up for summer holidays.

I started off at 17 stone 4, currently 14 stone 5

Oh my got its not just me watching food videos like they are porn lol ... It's really satisfying though!

RoRo how are you managing a few weeks in now? Hope your getting on good! I'm hoping the weeks fly in for me!

I've been on it 4 weeks and have lost 2 and a half stone. I have been on it twice before and each time lost 3 and a half stone in 6 weeks. On average it is a stone per month. Good luck! I've stopped feeling hungry and have bounds of energy, I've dropped 2 dress sizes. It's a great diet!

Hey Becky-Boo and Jess1973

Fabulous weight loss Jess......congratulations :thankyouthankyou:

Love hearing the good news.

I'm day 10 today and felt really hungry today. I didn't cheat so went to bed instead lol.......I woke up after having had a dream of eating chicken!!!!!!!! Woke up chewing lol....... felt super guilty then realised it was a dream......mental!!!!!!!

Have been cooking food for my other half and don't find it too bad. When he's eating I make myself busy. Have stopped feeling angry toward him now and keep reminding myself it's my choice.

Short term pain for long term gain......hopefully lol.

How is everyone else getting on? No wobbles?

Jess
That is an amazing loss for 4 weeks! I would love to get 3 stone off in 7 weeks so you just gave me hope :thankyouthankyou:!!

RoRo
It is funny isn't it how crazy you feel at the start ... I like to smelly my hubbies food, torture I know but it just smells so good after the LT fuzzy month flavour! No wobbles yet ... Weekend should be interesting with Father's Day trying to figure out how to avoid any family dinner requests

I have to say I actually woke up feeling hungry today day 5 .. I better get stuck into the water and curb that.

Hi everyone, I have been busy working on the new house I just bought. I have started re-feed ready for my holiday to New York next weekend. I wanted to continue, but I want to enjoy family meals whilst we are away. I plan to conciously think about what I am eating constantly, and opt for low carb meals, limit alcohol etc. I absolutely have no plans to put the weight back on! I have lost over 3 stone! I downloaded map my run 2 days ago, and I am following the couch to 5 k jogging plan and posting my runs on Facebook (between friends) as an incentive to keep going. I can't believe I have started jogging!!! I feel wonderful, I still have quite a bit of weight to loose, when I return from NY I will be hopping sttaight back on lipotrim. I am so glad I started it when I did. Please stick with it ladies, it will change your life!

Hi guys,

Firstly, All of you are doing amazing, keep it up!!
I'm new to the site but second time on lipotrim. I did lipotrim about 6 years ago for 4 weeks and lost 2 stone which I had managed to keep off and even joined the gym to tone up. I was initially 11st and lost down to 8 and half st after toning up.
However, since I gave birth to my son July last year I've had a difficult time trying to lose the weight I gained...which was a massive 5st..yikes!!! So far I've been going to the gym and trying to eat healthy for past 3 months and lost about 1st and half but it's moving too slow and I keep going backwards!

So I've decided to go back on lipotrim as it really works to get things started! I'm on day 2 of lipotrim. So far feeling ok but defo already having cravings.
I tend to have the chocolate shake with a teaspoon of coffee for morning around 10am then lunch strawberry shake at around 2-3pm and finally dinner is the chicken soup or vanilla at 6-7pm...also trying to drink 3L water but that's the most difficult part!!!

Weight loss (will be updating as much as I can!):

Height: 157cm (5'2"), BMI: 30.91

24/6: 76.2kg (11st 14lbs)--start weight
25/6: 75.2kg (11st 12lbs)

Note: a tip I saw online that you guys might want to try is taking a photo front and side view every day or at least every week in same position so you can see the changes...it worked for me previously to keep motivated

All the best everyone and I hope we can support each other throughout this weight loss journey!

Oh my got its not just me watching food videos like they are porn lol ... It's really satisfying though!

RoRo how are you managing a few weeks in now? Hope your getting on good! I'm hoping the weeks fly in for me!

Becky I totally agree...and Fb Is constantly updating me with all those videos !!! (my fault though as I liked the pages!) :)

Good Evening All

I have started Lipotrim over last couple of days and don't feel too bad - but I have been taking pain killers and fibre clear to stop being put off by headaches.
I want to lose over 10 stone in total over next two years before I hit 50 to reduce strain on my heart and also to start living more as I have really noticed weight over last year or so and its impacting my life - maybe way longer than that if I am to be honest and how it as shaped or restricted my life over the past 10'years - it's good to hear about the weight loss of so many people and people's experiences - I tend to find I was feeling yucky yesterday in between shakes. What amazes me are you ladies who cook also - I have removed any food from my house at the moment - even the dogs food is becoming appealing lol - good luck to you all with the continued weight loss and here's to the first month and some weight loss

Hi Welshy,

Well done starting on Lipotrim! I know what you mean about restricting ur life because of weight as I had gone through that since I got pregnant and even though some people said I was not very overweight, I felt for my height it was a very unhealthy weight. it still impacted on my life and it made me want to stay at home more than go out (although here the weather doesn't make me miss the outdoors too much lol!). Then the closet eating gets worse too. But this is a good first step and I hope you will be successful in your weight loss journey!
I cook for my husband too and at first it was tough but a few days in and I'm ok now, the paracetamol and coffee does help with headaches n cravings :) he's also trying to lose weight so I'm only cooking healthy carb free food...which isn't tempting my cravings so all good!:)

All the best and keep up ur good work...keep us updated!:)
