Morning Everyone

i have just joined this site, i joined slimming world last weds, i had my first wi last night and lost 2lbs, i was hoping to lose more, i have only ever done weight watchers before never done sw, i am really enjoying it,
what is everyones tips for a good weight loss

Welcome sue. I joined this group yesterday and I am addicted already lol. I too have done weight watchers in the past but so easy to get board on it where I find with sw there is so much variety.
Well done on your amazing 2lb loss that's great for a first week x

Hi Sue I have been doing SW for 4 weeks now and on average lose 2lb a week so last night had my half a stone award and it really gives you the motivation to lose more. The only tip I can give is drink plenty of fluids because sometimes i used to snack and use my syns when infact I was probably thirsty lol. I love SW and when I think about what I used to eat before its quite shocking lol. Good luck with your journey x

Welcome and well done on your 2lbs loss. Our consultant always says that we should be aiming for 2lb a week. This is a steady, maintainable weight loss.

Hope you are enjoying the plan. Don't be too disheartened if you have a lower number next week. I only lost 0.5lb in my second week and was quite upset but the week after I had lost 4lb! Sometimes our bodies hold onto stuff when we change how we eat. Keep at it and it will work!
