Newbie to Calorie Counting

Hi all, :sign0144:
I have been on diet chef (and on the DC forum) and lost a stone, but recently I have been going it alone and lost a further stone by just counting the calories. I am limiting myself to about 1000-1200 calories a day as well as exercising and it seems to be doing the trick. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and Im looking forward to hearing about everyones progress as well as sharing my own. Happy counting guys x

Thanks everyone,
Im really nervous today because Im having a BBQ for friends and family. I always eat too much at BBQ's. Oh well never mind!

Half your plate with salad, then whatever goes in the other half can't do too much damage. I try and stay away from bread (devils food), careful on the sauce/dressing/marinade, go easy on the booze and then tyou should be fine. x
