Hi everyone:D

lookin for some advice.. im a bit of a yo yo dieter, over the past couple of years iv went between ww and sw, losing between7 and 14 pounds, never seemed to lose anymore as I got so bored with it to be honest.. a lot of people have recommened calorie counting and this sounds good to me as I presume u can eat anything as long as it is within your calories? I am at the min 23 yrs, 5”5 and weigh 13 st 2lb and am a uk size 14.. my main area is my belly, I roughly would like to lose around 1 and half to 2 stone, would like to be in a size 12 again.. could anyone tell me roughly how many calories I should have?and also (silly question) but does the likes of lettuce, peppers mushrooms etc have calories?just wonderin how I cud count them without any packaging lol.. any advice would be much appreciated

hello hun and welcome to calorie counting, its really fun if you put your mind to it.

i found out my daily calorific allowance by joining myfitnesspal.con for free, it tells you how much calories you should be eating eachday to lose weight, it also has a food and exercise log where you keep track of what you ate plus it counts the calories for you.

well 100g of lettuce is abiut 18cals, mushroom is 20cals red bell pepper is about 40cals, so you can tell that the cals are quite low in veg, but if you join myfitnesspal.com it should help you out quite a lot x

yeah for all i wud have dont think it wud even be worth countin unless I had a large portion as a meal! gona join my fitness pal now xx

oh il defo be countin fruit.. dont like avocdado so thats bonus lol..just al basic stuff like lettuce onion mushrooms peppers cucumber onion etc its ok not to fuss over them to much?xx
