Newbie!!

Hey guys!! Just wanted to say hello....I joined weight watchers last Wednesday so have my first weigh in in a few days I'm excited and nervous to see how iv done!!! Iv found it ok and so far have not been hungry so far so good!! I am going on holiday in 10 weeks and would love to loose a stone n a half by then.... I have a lot more than that to loose but just taking it half a stone at a time!!! Wish me luck : )

I'm new too. :) I did the old points system last year, this new one is much better so far! Good luck with your loss, I'm sure you'll look great for your hols in 10 weeks!

How are you finding it? I did the old points a few years back and have done slimming world a few times which I found ok but fancied a change.... I think with slimming world I was still going over board on the portion sizes lol

I started on Thursday, my wedding is in eleven weeks so I'm almost in the same situation (have also done Slimming World in the past but never WeightWatchers). Good luck for your first weigh in x

Well I did lose 24.lbs or so on the old points last year which was good going. Then fell off the wagon after a break up... Decided out of nowhere last week that I would start up again and try and lose the rest of this weight lol. I'm finding it ok so far... I'm on 29pp a day - what are you on? Feel like I'm eating a lot of the same things at the mo though so need to sniff out some recipes on here hehe!!
I never did slimming world... I always thought I'd eat way too much pasta and stuff lol!

I'm the same 29pp... Iv not used any of my extra49 yet... usually I would save them for alcohol at weekends but I haven't been out this week so not used them. I wa trying to think what to use them on I didn't want to just eat for the sake of eating if I wasn't hungry n I find that 29 points is enough. I'm struggling for lunch ideas to take to work I don't have a microwave so has to b cold....I took salads I'm last week but I'm not really a salad person lol. Got some wraps so think might try a nice wrap tomorrow!

By the time of the wedding 10lb and any more would be a bonus, over three stone in the long term...

Finding the sticking to it pretty easy, the hardest thing so far is trying to come up with meals that both me and my fiancé can have (and he can eat quite a lot so need to be able to give him pretty big portions) but I think planning may be the key :) Also only really had my 29 points so far (I seem to be a bit scared of using my weeklies though going to use a few today)

How are you finding it??

Wow we're in the same boat then lol. Some days 29 seems like enough and other days I struggle (think when its my totm I just wanna pig out for some reason though).
I used 4 of my weekly 49 but I'm afraid to touch them otherwise in case it ruins my effort all week so I understand how you feel!
I'd say if you wanted the odd take out or meal out or drinks at the weekend like you said, then that's what the weekly points could be used for :)

Awwh what a pain not having a microwave? We have one, its great for my soup. You could take some in a flask I suppose? (I'm so bad at eating my veg so salad is not an option lol, I make some soups and get my veg from those hehe!)

I'm the same seem to b bit wary if using the extra points like it seems to good to b true lol but I suppose thats what ther ther for and when I do use them won't feel guilty because I'm allowed them lol. I did give in to temptation and had a cream cake in work on Friday.... But counted it in my daily points n didn't need to use my extra so I didn't feel too guilty lol. Do any of you do any exercise? Iv been trying to walk the fog a little longer than I normally would hoping that will help a little!!

That was good that you fit it into your daily points! Maybe you should start a food diary on here, I might start one myself?!
Ay the one thing I'm useless at is getting in enough exercise. I went for a walk this morning at 7am (I couldn't sleep) for about an hour, only did about 3 miles maybe. My commute to work is an hour and then an hour back so find it hard to figure out an exercise routine for the evenings *sigh*

I no what u mean it's hard to fit exercise in when ur busy. I just think anything is better than nothing so even just a little walk each day is something I suppose... I'm not tealy an exercise person at all lol

Yeah getting even a short walk in in the evenings is good, better than nothing anyway! If I start finding it v.difficult to lose the weight just dieting then I'll try and make sure to get more and more exercise in I guess. Aaah.. It'll all be worth the effort in a few months time when we're buying our smaller jeans lol!

I'm going to try to walk for at least half an hour a day wherever possible. Other than that I do have Your Shape on the xbox kinect which does give me quite a good workout

I find the iPhone app invaluable, my food tracking goes straight on to that so I know exactly where I'm upto :)

Don't have an iphone but do have an app on my galaxy s that I'd be lost without lol! So do you add in your exercise as AP then yeah?

Do you have to use activity points on the day you earn them do you know? I logged some in my app but bit unsure about them lol...
