Step 1 Sole Source Newbie

Hi Emma, yes, I was great for the first 3 days ( think it was the novelty of it ;-) ) and then a struggled a wee bit. Have still stayed 100% and now on day 17 and I'm back to finding it a bit easier. I did have a SS+ meal of chicken breast and green salad. In 2 weeks Ive lost 23lb (although I tipped the scales at 19st1lb on first weigh in). I think the secret is to drink plenty of water (I drink about 4l a day) and just ignore 'hunger' pangs. I usually try to silence them with water ;-)

Can wait to hear how you get on
Cheryl x

Sorry, should have said one SS+ meal when I was out once lol x

That's great I think I'm going to have to try chicken at tea time as I have no energy at all to I've got a one year old and a 6 year old :). I felt so lightheaded yesterday was horrible :( feel a bit better today :). How much chicken do u have? X

I usually have a small breast of chicken and a handful of salad leaves with some balsamic vinegar and black pepper. I think its 120g of chicken or tuna or white fish or 2 hard boiled eggs.

Had to have one last night as its time of month but was stuffed after it :) x

Oh yes, definitely. They make up all your nutrients for the day. The meal is usually about 200kcal and with the shakes etc it still only takes you up to about 650 kcals but you've had your recommended amount of vitamins and minerals x

No I'm just on sole source, but I've had 2 SS+ days when I was socialising and when I felt I needed it. I still have quite a lot to lose so I want to stay on SS for the full 12 weeks if I can before moving onto + . Which plan are you doing? X

Oh hiya just reading your posts I have started SS+ today and currently I am feeling so ill don't know if its the heat not helping too but I've done this before and didn't feel like this :-( is it ok to feel so ill on day 1?
Thank you

Hi I am on day five now and feel ok although I have gone from ss to ss+ the first day I felt awful aching s&d and so cold but I feel good now x this is the reason I started ss+ x
