Step 1 Sole Source Newbie

    Hi there, I'm on week 2, 10lbs down so far, just hope I can keep it up!! I've got about 5st to lose but going to break it down into smaller chunks and aim for a stone a month. Is this too much?? Any encouragement, advice welcomed xx

    Hi Amanda
    i realise this is quite an old post....how I you getting on? I'm currently on week 2.... Week 3 begins on Thursday! Last 2 days I've moved on to SS+ I'm looking for support and encouragement too :)

    I had my first weigh in today and I'm 9lbs down!!! Yippee!! Super pleased that I stuck it out between step 2 and ss+. Fingers crossed for a good loss in 2wks time, my cdc is away for 2 weeks as she's getting married tomorrow. Good luck everyone xx

    Hi Amanda. Well done for sticking it out and for your big loss! I'm on week 2 as well, first time trying Cambridge. So far so good, I lost 4lb in the first week and now it looks like I'm 9lb down too! My weigh in is tomorrow so I am excited to see what my official week 2 result is :) Keep going and I'm sure you'll have an amazing result in 2 weeks x

    Thanks Selfie, it feels good to be back!! Hope you're doing ok too. It's not really a bad diet to be doing and with sites like this to help we'll get there. Let us know how you get on with weigh in xx

    I lost 5.6lb so that's 9.8lbs in total! I'm just gonna round it up and call it 10 pounds in 2 weeks! I'm happy with that :) I'm hoping I can lose another 4 in time for my holiday in 10 days time. How are you getting on? And you're right, it's the support that makes this diet doable, both on here and from my counselor x

    I bet it does!! In doing ok, although I've just had a wee cheat of a tiny bit of chocolate!! I don't even know why??!! Oh well, onwards and upwards. Good luck for this week xx

    Thank you :) You know what I did too today :/ In work people are always handing out sweets and today I ate a chocolate egg. I didn't even like it really! Oh well, I don't think it will ruin the plan as it was only 1 small piece. In the past I would have had 5 to be fair! Good luck to you too. Lets resist the chocolate from now on! x

    Well done on your weight loss! I'm on week 5 weigh in tomoz hope I lose! What week are you on now need as much support as possible lol gotta get into a bridesmaid dress in July! :(

    Had weigh Wednesday was not happy at all only lost 1lb I was fed up and so wanted to cheat so tryin to think positive but it's hard!!! Let me know how u get on you will be fine xx

    Ahh no Smallzie stay strong! From experience, if I've had weeks of only 1lb/2lbs loss I've ended up losing 5-6lbs the week after! Stick it out and you'll be so relieved you have. Give up and you'll be doubly gutted.

    That's a shame smallzie but at least it was a loss not a gain!! I'm the very same though, the minute I don't see losses I want to sabotage myself. I only lost 5lbs in 2wks but that's not bad considering how much I've cheated!! The plus side is I've lost 1st in 3wks and got my rosette!! Soo exciting!! Hopefully keep me on track for the next week. Good luck to you xx

    hi everyone, how is your journey on this diet going so far? i have decided to restart this diet again after many fails.. i jus cant seem to have to will power to stick to it!! im hoping with the motivation on this forum, i can keep within rules of the diet!!

    Hi Jazzie! Doing well, I'm also a returner and on day 18 100%! I tried to restart a number of times and was never in the right mindset but joining this site really helped as everyone is so supportive! Hope you're enjoying day 1!

    hey Jo! well, so far im ok, had the mango Shake not long ago.. will be going swimming later on as the hunger pangs start to get in there!! haha.. now all i can c is my Goal infront of me, i know september is a long way still but its my main reason.. it shud motivate me as its my daughters birthday and i want to wear a dress thats not black!! as thats the only colour that hides the nasty bits ;).. have u dropped a dress size yet or does it take as while stil ? xx
