nicolaanns weightloss diary

I thought id start a diary to have someone to bee acountable to since im doing my weigh-ins at home unlike ive done before on slimming world or lipotrim.

well last week up until yesterday i was following lipotrim, when my husband mid-week decided he was going to start slimfast. whilst researching a bit for him i had a rethink about lipotrim.. mainly cos of my 7yr old daughter, i didnt want to pass my food issues down to her.. one thing my husband and i have always done is no matter how crap our diet is make sure the kids love fruit and veg, get 5 a day and limit their sweets etc.. for example they have never had fizzy drinks! the pair of hypocrites we are, as once they had gone to bed it would be about 4 liters of coke between us min, and takeaways and choclate from the icecream man at 9pm!

so after having our 4th child 4 weeks ago i decided enough is enough, i was 20stone 4lbs.. not the highest ive been but totally unacceptable to me! i started lipotrim cos i couldnt even think about how to cook a healthy meal. with a week without food and preparing for slimfast i feel ready and already much more knowelegable about calories and fat content.. its preparing me for a healthy life after i have shead my fat suit!!

so on my 1st weigh in i lost 14lbs! yay! but im realistic that it will only be a few lbs a week with slimfast if im lucky and i could even put on this week after doing the lipotrim
but im prepared!

day 1 food diary
bfast: vanilla shake
lunch: choc shake
dinner: tesco light choices tomato and pasta bake 375cals
tesco light choices garlicbread slices x 2 75 cals each
(total 525 cals for dinner)
snacks:wheatos cereal bar 89cals
mullerlight toffee 97cals
mini pot of philidelphia light 40cals
tesco mini grissini bread sticks 10cals each x6

drinks: 2 litres of water

day 2

bfast:choc shake
lunch:choc shake
dinner:tesco chicken in tomato and basil sauce over rice 300 cals
philidalphia extra light snack pot 37 cals
mulerlight with wheeto cereal bar broken up on top 186 cals
total: 524

snacks: slimfast bar 100cals
2 x batchelors slim a soup 116cals
philidelphia snack pot 37 cals and 5 mini grissini 50cals
total for snacks: 303 cals

drinks: diet pepsi and 1 litre of water

aims for tomorrow...
drink at least 2litres of water
use at least 1 snack for fruit a day
go home made at dinnertime instead of ready meals!
put aside 30mins for exercise even if i do look a prat jumping round the living room!

i was fine today but hubbys struggling, had a bit of a snipe at each other at lunch time and he was gonna pack it in cos he was hungry and cranky with it but we had our morning snack with our shake and used it for 2 slimmasoups in one mug which really helped us think we were having a proper lunch and calmed everything down, so thank god i hadnt used that already! the 2 eldest have gone to his mums for friday and sat night so hoping to go for a big walk with the babies tomorrow after little mans pram turns up.
oops shouldnt have done that, just jumped on the scales and it shows a 2lb gain since thursday, but thats coming after a 14lb loss for a week not eating on lipotrim so introducing food was bound to put weight back on at first, i just hope i can turn it arround this week to a loss.. at worse a stay the same!?! really gonna concentrate on healthier fruit snacks and my 2litres of water and exercise... i know ill be disheartened if i dont loose come thursday but thats were the determination must kick in!

note to self dont weigh again till thursday!

good luck... and as you say you are bound to be different this week because of not eating the week before...

i hope things do settle down for you and your hubby..
