Nightshift food

Hi

I am just about to start a run of 6 in 7 nightshifts

I really struggle to eat through the night - I normally only have coffee and water all night and sleep when I get home

Anyone have any ideas how to bulk my calories out without having too much junk food?

Thanks

Protein :)

Rice and chicken, pasta and chicken, lean meats, it'll keep you fuller for longer, it's healthy, satisfying and your body will appreciate it,

See at nights when we sleep we are essentially starving our bodies, humans originally are meant to eat little and often, hence by people in training have 6 meals per day,

They say to stop the fast have complex carbs before bed, I.e brown foods generally.

The protein will sustain you throughout the night, and because you are turning your day on its head, you won't feel out of wack for when your awake during the day, off shift
