No more excuses!

Hi everyone, I'm currently on holiday enjoying the sea, sun and sand but never been more determined to fix my weight until now.
It's not just seeing lots of slim women here in Turkey, for once I'm not even comparing myself to anyone here, it's just the knowing that I'm still not at my best. And that alone, is worth working for.
I left the UK at about 11st 6 and want to get to 9.7. I'm preparing myself for a bit of weight gain, although to be perfectly honest I'm not eating much here at the moment. The weather has just hit 47 degrees C and it has totally killed my appetite. Still, I will see what the damage is when I get back and update my weight from there.
I plan on starting at 1500 calories a day and getting daily exercise in mon-fri.
This now has to become a lifestyle change, although I personally hate that cliche, it is so true.
I arrive back in the Uk next Tuesday morning so will update then, until then....
