Me and the other half are beginning to plan our wedding (don't get too excited, it'd April 2014)! For a long time I've loved Indian style wedding dresses and have my heart set on a teal lengha or saree but I'm wondering whether it might be a bit too mad? Is it culturally insensitive to wear the traditional clothing of a culture we don't belong to? But then I think it's my day and I'll never get an opportunity to wear it again?!

What are your thoughts?

I too would say go for it. If push comes to shove you could always ask when you are buying the dress, if it would be viewed as wrong. I reckon it won't be.
