Not a clue where to start

Hi all, I found this site quite a while go but never joined up.. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and hope that some one out there can help me. I am what some would asay a yo-yo dieter.. I take a notion in my head that i want to lose weight and previously it has been easy to lose it.. Not this time though.. I'm currently following the slimming world plan, well when i say that i mean i started it again yesterday... ;) I find it so easy through the week but come the weekend, its all wine and takeaways!!!!

My cousin is gettin married in 6 weeks time and ideally I would like to have a stone off but I can't see that happenin, i would be happy with even Half a stone.

So here goes again.. i've lost count as to which attempt it is but I'll try!!! :)

Welcome Rio and good luck with the SW plan. Are you doing it online, in a group or on your own?

I'm in the same boat as you great during the week but weak on the weekends. I've decided to give up wine and crisps for the whole of october and see if I can shift a few lbs.

Welcome Rio! You're on the right site. I joined this group a few months ago and i've been getting a lot of help with the threads that I'm reading. The girls are really helpful and supportive. ;) Good luck hun!

Hiya Coffeelover and desperate2bslim, its nice to know theres someone in the same boat.. i love crisps!!! lol Good for you giving up wine AND crisps for October, thats brilliant.. I hope i can do that eventually :) Good luck.... I'm actually trying to do it on my own at the minute, I've been a class memeber before and have all the paraphenalia so thought I give it ago on my own first and if that doesn't work I'll rejoin the class for the extra motivation that come with it!!! I am lookin forward to the support that comes from this site, so fr so good, every1 seems really helpful!!!! :)

Hi rio, you will definately reach your half st' (at least)I too have just started the sw(extra easy)I have had 2 weigh ins and have lost 8lb!! there is so much to eat which at times is difficult to get ur head round!! but i have beeen told to eat eat eat! good luck you can do it x

I'm new to the boards too, kept reading the posts and then finally plucked up the courage to join. Ive been a "yo-yo" dieter for years, mainly on the SW plan. Lost around a stone on my own this time round but the last few pounds have proved to be stubborn. :( So i've rejoined a class for an extra kick up the backside! Thought that if i'm paying for it, it might give me more insentive. :)

Just wanted to wish you well on your weight loss journey.
