Just joined this site after a five day free trial. I'm a sucker for gadgety stuff, so it really appealed to me.

Been on most of the major diets, and swing from one to the other too frequently. This is why my weight yo-yos so much. My ultimate aim is to get to 9 stone - I've not been under ten stone since before my son was born, and he's going to be 24 next week. I shall be posting any recipes and pictures to my blog, and hopefully recording all the highs - and inevitable lows - somewhere about here.

So, calorie counting - I've got a target of 1400 a day - and building up my exercise. Walking at the minute - I have a really good pedometer - it's the Weight watchers one - and I'm aiming for a minimum of 5000 a day, but really want to be hitting that magical 10k as often as possible.

I think that's all for now!

Most people on here seem to use MFP, which is brilliant and free. What made you decide to opt for one you have to pay for, if you don't mind me asking? :) xx
