Hey just wondered if anyone on her suffers this horrid disease. I have had arthritis for 3yrs now as was diagnosed with zero neg as my rheumatiod factor bloods came back clear. I am on sulphasalazine and naproxen but at my check up yesterday with rheumatologist they decided that I am getting worse so have decided to add in small dose of methotrexate. I will be on 6 sulphasalazine a day and 2 naproxen with the methotrexate 3 tablets once a week. I also have to take folic acid. I have been looking at the leaflet about it and to be honest it scares me all the side effects. On the plus side no alcohol allowed with it so I will be tea total so that will be good for the diet. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with the methotrexate and how you coped on it and if it made you ill etc. :cry:
