    Dilemma!!!
We are going camping next weekend with a big group of people (bout 20)
How am I supposed to stick to this diet when there are BBQs going on?
I don't mind not drinking cause a few of them don't drink but what about the food?
    any advice would be appreciated

Tricky, you could either go down the eat the protein and green veg option whilst also having all your Cambridge and all your water. Or you get to watch everyone else eat.

16 years ago when I first had to do the diet (before I had kids) I watched everyone else eat and didn't eat anything. But having to do the diet again after the pregnancies, I've found it more difficult to not eat, and I'd personally go for the protein and green veg option.

Ultimately, it's a decision only you can make.

    Good luck!

well here goes but im on 790 which i suppose you could do for you time away.
Take quorn sausage, quorn bacon and quorn burgers. put it on the bbq and enjoy. Take some zero coke and you have your own bbq, if they dont know your on the diet you could be a veggie.
Do hope you go and dont let it spoil your weekend. When you get back straight on ss. You shouldnt feel guilty because its planned bobs your uncle great weekend.:wow:

    Me Too !!!!!

I wonder if we'll camp at the same place?

I've been worrying a bit, as since going on the diet I've become a bit of a hermit:sigh: But I know I can cope, and so can you. It won't be the food I'll want, it'll be the copious amounts of alcohol:D :D :D

There's a group of us all with American cars and we're off to a wild west show for the bank holiday weekend.

When I'm tempted I'll think of you, and knowing your being strong will help me to stay strong. So no being naughty now;)

    Have a great time.

The protein and green veg sounds like an option, I will only do it when they have evening BBQ so am gonna stock up on the quorn stuff. How much of it should I allow myself?

Burgers = 1 if it's the quarter pounder, 2 if it's the normal ones, or whichever is closest to about 275kcal.

Sausages 275kcal worth, which I think is a ridiculous 6 for the normal ones and just 3 for the lamb style.
