i have this week, been eating loads of peppered mackeral and now i find out that is full of syns............ oh well (picks herself up and dusts herself off) no more for me then:sigh:
It's only 1 syn per 28g though, so you can have quite a big portion for not that many syns. And it's so good for you! I have it for lunch at least once a week.
It is yummy but yes that seems to be a common mistake!
You may also want to take a look at Princes Mackerel in a rich tomato sauce.. and Princes do other mackerel in sauce although not all are free but v low syns (they're tinned and is the rich tomato is FREE!) Tastes very nice, nice too tomato-ey but could be an alternative if you have a love for mackerel
