What can I do to help with this or will I have to wear a surgical mask whilst on this diet??

I just use gum, not strictly allowed, but I don't get cravings with it.

Perhaps you already use one as part of your general dental routine, but I find a tounge scraper really helpful. Picked mine up in Boots. I bring one to work with me, along with toothbrush and toothpaste.
Nonetheless, I still get my momments of yucky breath.

I drink heaps more water, not sure if it actually does help the breath but it stops your mouth feeling like a sewer. Retardex breath freshener spray from boots- get through tons of the stuff. xx

Me too - with both diets. I wake up and it's like a metal factory and a sewer exploded in my mouth and my husband is looking at me like "do you really think I am going to kiss you".

It's a small price to pay for being thinner! :D

listerine strips over here! every couple of hours. And actually lots of water also helps!
