Look at what you've lost already. Don't be so harsh on yourself and just try to get back on track :)

Can you phone the HR/Personnel dept at work to discuss taking back your resignation ? You might be able to have a chat with someone and sort it out.

Good luck.

Aww chick, it's a horrible feeling but you'll get back on track! Sometimes when our lives are so hectic in other areas it's hard to focus on diet etc, just take one step at a time and you'll get that stone off in no time. With regards to the job could you not speak to them and say you wrote the letter as you felt thats what you wanted at the time but now you realise you just had so much on and were not thinking straight and can see that you don't want to leave afterall?? I think honesty in that situation is best really but if you don't try you won't get so you have nothing to lose.

Good luck.xx

Welcome home Amethyst...

Don't stress over the job hun, there are times in our lives where some jobs are too much for us, so close that door, and always always another door will open for you!!!

So wipe you tears, go smile in the mirror while you put your make up right, and sod the council!

Today is a start of better things! xxx

Go add yourself to my challenge and win yourself some bathbombs with any fragrance you fancy from my list!

Without sounding rude I would try and step back and give yourself time to think YOU don't want to be rushing into anything! if your partner won't let you meet any friends just because he hasn't meet them I would be packing my suitcase and going home! YOU DESERVE A FANTASTIC LIFE BUT YOU NEED TIME TO THINK AND WORK OUT WHATS RIGHT FOR YOU AND YOUR BABY.

Blumming heck you are all of a tisswaz, well hunny, the council house, if you want to keep it, go ring them, tell them you want to detract from the letter you written, explain how stressed you are, and you i believe have 7 days to change your mind, then sort that man out, and then get a taxi and go meet your friend! i think you need to talk to someone, and the prizes also consist of handmade soaps, so ideal for shower pod! x

Aw sorry chick, i misunderstood. Listen yeah, you have to do what is right for you. You will know in your heart of hearts if this was the wrong move for you. We all have doubts about things which is natural and only time can ease you into the change but listen to what your gut instinct is telling you and if you don't think you can settle there long term, or having friends over in future is going to be a problem then you need to get out now and be somewhere you can call home. I still think a quick call to the council would put things right if thats what you decide you want.x

I agree with the others, do what is right for YOU! if you don't feel right about stuff, it may take time to settle in but make sure you don't burn your bridges so get on that phone and tell them that you've had some time to think and you've decided that you're entitled to a cooling off period and have changed your mind and want to retain it until further notice???

Fingers crossed and hugs all turns out for you hun. x

I never enjoyed living at home when I was younger and so when I called my mum to get me from ipswich in 2002 as I was leaving my sons dad for the way he stopped me from seeing my family and friends and left me with no money to even buy new clothes for myself or my son without going into a charity shop i was nervous.
Now I still live at home with my mum and my son and have my own life which I am living very happily.
You have a choice to live your life or your partners. Who's do you want to live?
As for the council they will give you 7 days grace from receipt of the letter and you can explain the way you have been feeling at home and they may be able to suggest some other options for you.
huggles

if that's the case amythest could you not try for a council house swap so that you can get a council flat in leicester. At least that way you will be where you want to be but still have some space from oh if needed. - plus you could have a bath when you want.
