Hmm - there I am coasting through my day, happy in the knowledge that I'm on track and that I've just lost 2.5lbs and got my first award, feeling on a high and like everything is going right for a change, merrily replying to Minimins posts... then ..... my OH rings to say he won't be home until 9.30pm, my daughter decides she's going out and my son says he fancies beans on toast for tea ... and my evening meal plans just fly out of the window. Beef, roasted veg and new potatoes with gravy, all synned out and ready to be cooked. It throws me completely and I end up with ..... a bowl of Cranberry Wheats with milk, a Dutch crispbake with reduced sugar jam and 1 square of Dairy Milk (dangerous living eh??)! Blown my syns, blown my day, blown my confidence! What a stupid thing to do!!!! Now I'm all frustrated and cheesed off with myself - I wish I understood how I worked!!!!!!!!! Anyone else do stupid things then regret them immediately????? :break_diet:

I completely understand! At work today I was feeling a bit fragile and then just before I left someone was rude to me and I burst into tears while driving home. I got home and somehow decided it would be a good idea to go buy chips and battered sausage and chocolate. I think I left too long before eating some dinner, but it was definately the bad day that sent me off track. Of course now I bitterly regret it! Tomorrow is a new day though.

I know mojomcl - its a pathetic attempt at a binge isnt it???? I'm just annoyed with myself cos I was going to have a Curly Wurly as a treat tonight too and now I can't. I just do these silly things and don't understand why. Its like I've got this voice in my head telling me not to do it but I just ignore it until its too late - then I beat myself up!!!

Syns-wise, I reckon I must have had maybe 30 syns in all. Its hard to say cos I'm not sure how many Cranberry Wheats I plonked into the bowl. Ellebear and ShweetThang are right though - tomorrow IS a new day and I've drawn my line below to prove it!!!! Thanks for the speedy replies anyway - it probably saved me from doing something even worse!!!!!! xxxxxx ps - don't let em grind you down ShweetThang - they're NOT worth it and you ARE! All the best for your tomorrow! xxxx

yay for the line!!! chin up honey, you could have had a wrong week - like 7 whole wrong days, but really when it comes down to it, its a part of a day (not even a full day) that has gone a little bit wrong!

well done for being back on the positive happy wagon! xxx

Sounds like me 2-3 times a week. All the plans in place and one thing happens which throws it. And then the guilt hits in!!!

Good for you with the line. xxx

Can I just ask why you didnt just make the meal anyway?? I quite often eat on my own as my Hubby wants to eat rubbish. Even if you had budgeted the meal for the whole family they could reheat it for tea this evening.
Well done for getting back on track though Hun and just concentrate on limiting the damage today...Im pretty sure you havent blown it all completely!
