I'm having serious sweet cravings right now! What can I have?? Could I mix butter with splenda and vanilla essence and just have a load of buttercream??

    Any more ideas???!!

I got the following off the U.S. Low Carbs (Atkins) forum. It could be worth a try. :)

    My new comfort food.

cream cheese, desired amount melt in microwave, i usually melt the entire pkg.

then add about 4 tablespoons or more, depending on how you like it of sour cream

stir well. then add splenda, depending on how sweet you want it..

i just discovered this and i love it, cut up some raspberries and throw in and stir some more, any fruit will work...

stir everything together, cool in freezer or fridge, eat when cool

experiment, and add different things, it makes me feel full, and i even have left over for the next day, you can use low fat cream cheese if you desire..

May suggest you buy whole flaxseed & grind it yourself in say - a coffee grinder. Then keep it in an airtight container in the fridge. Ground flaxseed goes off easily so if you do just a little at a time it lasts much longer.

Oh dear well the flaxseed didn't go down well! I didn't like them one bit!! This diet is getting really hard and boring now cos all I'm having is ruddy eggs and bacon for breakfast. I couldn't even face them today sp only ate a little bit! I'm seriously getting put off eggs now. Craving carbs big time! :-( x

Sausages? Flax bread (recipe on mims thread) toasted with butter and marmite? Ham and cheese (a nice scandinavian breakfast)?

I have sliced belly pork, oven roast, eaten hot with green veg or cold with a salad & Mayo. I get mine from Lidl, also chicken thighs. Low carb sausage, also from Lidl. Morrisons 99% beef, Beefburgers in the frozen foods aisle. Brie & other cheeses. Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon as a treat. Omelette with grated cheese or herbs cooked in butter.. None of these are expensive when I remember what I spent on rubbish. :D

    Something sweet

Mix equal quantities of Mascapone & double cream, & 1tsp of vanilla extract & powdered splenda to taste. Have with raspberries

A really creamy take on raspberry cheesecake.

Think raspberries are strictly speaking for after induction - sorry.
