not got a clue hun, wouldnt think eating would interfer, where you normal when on LT ??? could you be pregnant ???

Im not sure... The first one I got on LT was 2 weeks in and that was bang on time. The second one I got was 2 weeks early but it was barely a period at all. Im only 2 days over but its unusual for me because im usually very very regular - every 28 days on the button.

Im hoping LT has messed up my cycle...

Don't fret about it hun
LT definitly messes up your body. I hadn't had a period in 5 years since I was 16, as I have PCOS.

1 week on LT and I got a period, another exactly four weeks after. Your body is probably just adjusting.

I havnt had totm since the second week of LT back over 2 months ago. My hubby has had the snip but i think i would be worrying otherwise. The chemist in Castlebarr told my sister who was on the pill to use another type of conterseptive as LT cancels out its effect. LT also increses your fertility. I however was not told this in Navan.

Jaysus, no way, don't tell me that!! I'd die if I got pregnant now after doing this!!!

Im not overly worried tbh. However my last one was extremely light - to the point it was nearly non existent. I am so so tired - I havent been this tired since my dd was a newborn. And my back is killing me.

These could be and probably are all crazy coincidences but TFR knocked my sex drive completely and the only accident i remember was in April. So the chances are that im not.

I really think it must increase your fertility. I am not supposed to be ovulating and here I am with periods! (I'm like a peacock strutting around with pride when I think of it!)
I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, that it's to do with blood sugar. LT stabilises your blood sugar and less insulin is produced, and that corrects any hormonal imbalances. If there's problems when I try for a baby in a couple of years I might jump on LT for a few weeks before going through IV. I've heard of people concieving on atkins. I'd need to suss out the risks associated with IV vs conceiving on LT.

With rapid weight loss, you release stored estrogen in fat into your blood stream and this disrupts your menstrual cycle and also seems to increase fertility.:)

We have had a good few MiniMins babies and more on the way.

Oh no... it was only yesterday that my doctor put me on a new pill!

Don't particularly want to go back and see her yet as I always feel like I'm taking up her time but if my new pill isn't going to work... arrrggghhh!

(that's not supposed to be a pirate noise ;))

Not to worry you, but your last period sounds like it may have been an implantation bleed.

I would do a test just in case you coud be as the vitamin A in the sachets could have an effect on the developing fetus. There is significant evidence that vitmain A can cause defects in the developing fetus, particularily during the first 12 weeks.

I've had women in my casehold who found out they were pregnant while doing CD, LL and LT and their babies have all been fine.

Just to be on the safe side though I'd defo take a test. Sorry if I've worried you thats really not my intention, and I hope the outcome is what you want :)

Done a test and it was negative! So yayyy.. For now.

But if they dont come in the next few days ill do another test and if thats negative then ill go to the doctor.

If I am im off full TFR now so I dont need to worry too much.

My poor OH was terrified. Funnily enough that chilled me out - he's funny when he's like that.
