One meal a day diet

Hello everyone has any one tried the one meal a day diet have been thinking about giveing it ago but unsure of it
 
I've not heard of it but it doesn't sound very healthy. 1. It would slow your metabolism down and put your body in starvation mode 2. Your body needs nutrients and energy to function through the day 3. It's not realistic to adopt as a way of life. Once you eat normally again (3x a day) you'd most likely put weight back on.
