Pasta n sauce quiche

Hi everyone

I have just made the pasta n sauce quiche, is this syn free. I used chicken n mushroom pasta n sauce. I have read elsewhere that this is now not free, something to do with cooking the ingredients together? Can someone clarify

Hi,

My understanding is that it's free if you're eating it as part of a meal, but that the issues arise if you're snacking on things like this as you'll be increasing your calorie intake quite significantly by doing that.

I make syn free quiche and have it for my lunch with super-free soup, and don't have any problems. In that context I think it's the same as eating eggs, meat, veg and cottage cheese on a plate for your lunch! But you wouldn't normally snack on pasta and quiche.

Hope that makes sense! I don't think it's a "tweak", just one of those things you have to be careful not to overeat.
