    I haven't done SW for a couple of years, and started this morning. I'm going to try to keep a diary for the next few weeks to keep me on track.

    Friday

    Weetabix & milk HEB HEA
    Fruit salad & yogurt

    Banana

    Pasta salad (2 syns)

    Chicken kebab & pitta HEB

    2 slices garlic bread & cheese (10 syns)

    Today was going well until OH suggested we get takeout, so I could watch the tennis, then they delivered free garlic bread with the takeout. I had the 2 smallest pieces, and the rest went in the bin. Only bonus is that if I hadn't been thinking SW I could have eaten chips, more garlic bread, more chocolate etc..

    I'm off to a boozy BBQ tomorrow, so will try to stick to meat and salad.

    Knowing I was going to a BBQ tonight I tried to minimise what Healthy Extras and syns I had during the day. Although if I had eaten something not long before we left I might have managed to leave the crisps and dips alone.

    However, I have still got 46 syns to last 5 days, so not a disaster.

    Fruit salad & yogurt
    Mushroom omelette & beans (2 syns for oil/butter)

    Banana, strawberries, cherries

    Back to work, and away from all the weekend temptations. Really pleased to have stuck to 3 syns, especially as I'm not remotely hungry. Helps to balance out the weekend excesses !!

    Another 100% day, really pleased to now be back on track with my syns.

    So the day started off well, then one of my colleagues went to the chippy for lunch. I said no thanks when he asked if anyone wanted anything. But then he only ate half his chips, and offered the remainder between me and one of my colleagues - just too tempting. However, I'm on a green day and have counted the syns. Then out came the biscuits. I declined the first and second times they were offered around, but the third time I was in the middle of a major rant about one of our departments expecting me to do most of their work and took one gratefully. I did only have 1 so stayed within my syns, just not quite as I'd planned.

    After yesterday's almost wobble, I was completely committed today. Attended a Zumba class, and stayed 100% all day :)
    First weigh-in tomorrow, and I've stayed within my syns for the week (just!)

    Today's plan is to choose what I want to eat and as long as I count the syns anything is fine.

    Steak, mushrooms, few Rustic chips, coleslaw, salad, (8 syns)
    Vanilla ice-cream (10 syns)

    Wine x 2 glasses (8 syns)

    Pleased with stopping eating the cookie when I'd had enough - Mum finished it off for me

    I love the way that 1 day on low syns can get you easily back within your weekly limit after a mischievous weekend. 2 days to go 20 syns left :)

    Busy day today, didn't get the chance to eat fruit as I usually do, and only ate half my lunch, if I'd been at home tonight I'd have struggled to stay on plan, thankfully I wasn't :)

    Last day at work today, start new job on Monday. Chinese buffet planned for lunchtime. Going to try to eat what I want to eat without going crazy.
