I know this is totally off topic, and I have posted this in the parents forum, but I thought I would get a good response here as I knows ya.
Please support the campaign to ban looped blind cords.
The Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser is calling on the Government to pass legislation banning looped operating cords on window blinds and curtains. This follows the tragic death of Menstrie toddler Muireann McLaughlin in February 2008 :cry:
Sadly, this type of accident is more common than people perhaps imagine, with one or two children dying each year in the UK in similar tragic circumstances.
