Extra Easy Planning for the Weekend

    Just been sat here wondering if you have planned your meals for the weekend? Sometimes I struggle to think of meals however have managed to sort out a couple of things...

    Friday Dinner:- SW Chips, Fish, Mushy Peas

    Sat Lunch:- Tiger Prawn Stir Fry
    Sat Dinner:- Sunday lunch with all the trimmings (Strange but I just fancy it lol)

    Sunday:- Shepherd Pie & Veg

    Thats about it at the mo:p

    Husband's been making me plan, so as to save monies. I do not like this but dinner for the weekend is as follows

    Sat
    B-Smoked salmon scrambled eggs with mushrooms and fruit for afters
    L- Spanish Omelette
    D- Prawn and pepper one pot
    Sun
    B- Fry up (bacon, eggies, exciting beans, mushies etc)
    D- Spicy pork with Mexican rice (May/ Jun 2010)

    We don't have lunch on sundays as we lie in stupid late and go to bed proper time!

    I plan out dinners so I know what to buy when shopping

    Sat: SW Carbonara with mushroom for me as Green Day
    Sun: Meatballs with salad as red day

    Yup:

    Sat: Spanish Kebabs with mango salsa, sweet wedges, roast toms & salad. Dessrt: spicy popcorn
    Sun: Stuffed Parma/feta chicken with veg
    Mon: Black bean soup
    Tue:Salad with rice/lentils/hummus/Quorn sausage
    Wed: Citrus black bean soup
    Thu: BNS & coriander falafel; Carrot & coriander fritters w halloumi & sweet lemon dressing; green salad
    Fri: Sambal Telur+ Chana chat - with rice & poppadoms
    Sat: Kebab with celeriac chips & salad
    Sun: Carrot, coriander & butter bean burger with spicy wedges & salad

    Not necessarily in that order and subject to modification, but that's what Ive booked my shopping as :)

    I think the organised bit is the only thing making me actually lose weight this time :sigh: Ive done it a million times before and not had the time to plan so I inevitably give up after a month or whatever. Im dreading Sept/Oct when I dont have the time available to me to plan and cook as I do now. :( Still, ist good practise I guess :)
