could do with a little help.

hello, how you all doing? im new to this site and sw. started sw on Tuesday and not sure im doing it right please can you look at my last two days food diary please. any help or suggestions will be great thanks

day one! i think is a red day.

breakfast
6 grapes
1 apple all free
black coffee free

peach free

lunch

pasta pot bachelor soup tomato and herb heb

melon free

diet coke

dinner
mushrooms
peppers
lean mince
passata
onion
sweetcorn all free

spaghetti heb number 2

I have only been on plan for about 5 weeks, so welcome-you will love it on here!!

thank you very very much, i didn't know you had to have exact amount for hea and heb, its 6 extra light laughing cow triangles your ment to eat but i thought i would cut it down as that's quite slot.

no i haven't weighed the chicken or the pasta but had very small amount,

would i be better to do the extra easy plan? not sure how that works though.

how you getting on with sw? you enjoying it? thanks for your help. x

You get 6 laughing cow extra lights as an A choice. Besides that everything looks good with the corrections.

There are some really good threads and posts on this site that explain the EE/red/green days plans. Might be worth having a read up on them hun :)

Yeah you do need to weigh your healthy extra's otherwise you may be having too much and will have to syn the extra you eat. Samw when it comes to the cheese triangles for example, because you only had four you should have eaten two more to make it a full HEXA or syned the 4 you ate.

Just a couple of things to add to what has already been said about your menu.

Lean mince is not syn free, you need to get extra lean which is less than 5% fat. The lean mince has to be synned but it's low in syns - half a syn per 28g I think.

Also, you need to check your quorn sausages - if it says best ever on the pack then they are not syn free but 1 syn each - the recipe changed in the past couple of weeks.

By the way you don't need to syn your cheese triangles if you don't have the full HEB amount. Some consultants have been known to say this but it is not correct.

Seriously? What did they do to them? Ugh :(

I've been eating quorn sausages most of my life and they've never changed the recipe from anything that I can remember. They tasted absolutely fine before, there was no need to change anything! Grrr! :mad:
