The light faded from my eyes
I realised that he couldn't be mine.

The time had come the fat walrus said,
as she looked at his receding back walking
no loping running speeding from her.

Standing in the room, Mirror mirror
one the wall who is the fattest of them all?
she cried in shock when her own reflection
did
not
appear.

"Find what you appreciate and have nothing to fear"

Ankles that are defined, different from her feet and legs.
Wrists that she can fit her hands around,
wrists that bracelets fit around - too large.

Nose slighly off centre. She knows that this is not what she should like,
but anyone who wants to tell her she can't
can get on their bike.

The ever-increasing lose skin
The proof that she is becoming .... thin.

I very much like this poem!
This:
she cried in shock when her own reflection
did
not
appear.

Is lovely. As is the last line. Fabness!
