Hi all im new to this forum but defo not to dieting, quick bit about me.....

at my highest weight i was 23st 6lb
Lowest weight (bout 2 years ago) i was 11st 13lb
today's weight is 16st 6lb

so i lost a lot of weight on atkins, ww, and any other diet going, but i decided to give the weight watchers another go as its defo the only one that is nearest to what i call normality anyway.

im going to try keep a diary on here and hopefully it will stop me snacking to much on choc!!! (im a serious chocoholic ha )

Day 2

Sorry meant to actually put some food on it !!!

Day 2!

Breakfast:
2 x Weetabix 3pp
200ml 1% milk 2pp
coffee 0pp

Lunch:
Was busy today so snacked on grapes
2 x ww yogurt 2pp

Dinner:
WW Chicken & Mushroom pie 8pp
Brussel sprouts 0pp
brocolli 0pp
ww desert 4pp

Snacks:

Velvet crunch 2pp
wheelies 3pp
ww bar 2pp
time out 2pp

1 x ltr of water 0pp
milk for coffee 1pp


Total PP : 29 of 36 used

Cant really eat any more even tho i have 7 left.:confused:

Wrap with salad and ham 5pp
2 x ww yogurt 2pp

Dinner:
Fish 5pp
Brussel sprouts 0pp
brocolli 0pp
Garden peas 2pp


Snacks:

ww bar 2pp
Muller yogurs 3pp (only eating this cos i dont want to eat 2 much junk food to bulk up pp)

1 x ltr of water 0pp
milk for coffee 1pp

anyone any suggestions on how i could do better, or will i loose more weight faster this way? (think i remember the leader saying to make sure to eat all my points tho)

Hiya welcome to the site. The people on here are great and really supportive so I hope this'll help you do well. Your diaries look great, but I would say try to use all your points, I find my losses were better once I used every daily and weekly available (but the weeklies are different for everyone, not everyone finds their losses good if they use them all, some do..so you'll have to find what works for you, my advice is to start by using them all and work from there). Maybe you could add potatoes or something pointy to your dinner. At the start I found it hard to use all my pp's but I got into the habit of splitting my pp between meals and making myself use them all - I did 5 for breakfast, 8 for lunch, 11 for dinner and 5 left for snacking - did the trick for me.

Haven't actually had a chance to maintain yet lol. Have had a very very busy last few weekends and I'm away again next weekend so I've been sticking with the 29pp during the week and taking Saturdays and Sundays off, still lossing doing that lol...don't know whats going on but long may it last

I'm grand most of the time, but everynow and again I get fed up with all the cooking, my hubby doesn't cook so I make everything..breakfasts, lunches and dinners, sometimes I get lazy and couldn't be bothered. Once I get going though I'm grand. This is the longest I've ever stuck to a plan and I can really see this being for good. The new plan is good.

How far along into it are you, do you go to meetings?

i Just re joined last tuesday so this is my first week, i am loving the new plan but im just so unadventurous with my menu, i use to just buy the ready meals and eat them last time i done ww but this time im going to try cook, yup i am going to try stay for the meeting next week.... at my lowest i was 11st 13lb but i put back on almost 5 stone this year so im going to try and tackle that.... i just find it so hard to keep weight off.... you flying tho a real inspiration to make me keep to it...

I was always the same, found it easy enough to loss the weight but once I got to target I'd loss it and put the weight back on. This is the first time I got to target and actually got my gold card YIPEE!! And no sign of lossing control yet.

Don't worry yet about being too adventurous with you menus, once you get a hang of the pp for things you'll be flying. Definately get yourself a calculator and then you can point stuff before you buy it.

yeah i got a calc and the eating out guide last week and am getting the shopping guide this week :) and ha im dying for my gold card came so close last time but was 7 lb away.... defo going to get one this time :D

im still using my original ww card and ha was afraid she would scrape the silver 7s off the back for the weight i put on :p

Not sure of any of the above pp values so any advice would be great....

Lost 8.5lb tonight so im trilled, my food diary was more or less the same as prev days but i got a Chinese after the way in, (nothing to bad i dont think just Singapore noodles) as a treat :D
