I had a plain oat so simple sachet in a muller this morning, but have been reading that you need the other part being a scan bran.

I have read all the comments on 'you should have the other or you have to syn it etc'...

However... i dont like scan bran and in my 100 extra easy days, it is saying that you can have your porridge as one part, and 1 ryvita wholegrain crackerbread as the other part??

Can someone advise me on this please???

I can't stand scan bran however when I have oat so simple I crumble a scan bran up, add my milk and pop it in the microwave. You can't taste the scan bran!!

From memory I think you can also have a ryvita wholegrain crackerbread instead of a scan bran

Yes you can have the crackerbread if you prefer but if you don't want to then leave it out. You do not need to syn the porridge if you don't eat the scan bran/ryvita.
