Potato cake - tweak?

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help as I am confused...!

I found a recipe online for a syn free potato cake made with mashed potato and egg. I wanted something to eat with a big bowl of vegetable soup, so one or two little cakes would be perfect.

Then I read some comments saying this recipe was a tweak... But then I came across an official syn free recipe on the slimming world website for bubble and squeak cakes which sound almost the same, except they have cabbage in as well.

So can I have potato cakes as syn free or not? I won't be snacking on them, just eating as part of a meal... So confused!

Thank you!

I would say this is syn free, its potato being used in the way that it should be so I don't consider it a tweak. A tweak that I know about is when I microwave thinly cut potato and eat them as a 'packet of crisps' ;)
