Congratulations Corrina, I control my self control by not having temptations in the house, my husband does get a bit upset at this occasionally though and the nearest shop is 3 miles away and he doesn't drive.

In answer to your question - yes! I feel great when I manage to resist all that stuff! I've got kids too, and today was DDs 5th birthday party - cue cakes, chocolates, biscuits, mini sausages, jelly & icecream, sandwiches, crisps, and of course, left overs! I did raw veg etc so I could pick, and not one naughty passed my lips!

So, pat on the back for both of us, me thinks! Well done you x

I resisted takeaway pizza while drunk at 4 o clock in the morning the other day! I actually went and cut myself some red pepper and carrot while all my friends sat munching on 14 inch pizzas, including my friend who is a SWer!! I was very proud in the morning.

Yeah it does feel great and I manage it most of the time and I think its because with slimming world there is always something you can nibble on that can help distract you from what others are having or is in the house lurking somewhere! Like on Saturday when I went to a panto with hubby and my boys I took a punnet of grapes and nibbled on those while they ate their popcorn!
Well Done everybody and well done slimming world!

Yep I always feel great and slightly superior when at home OH is sitting in front of the TV with biscuits/chocolates and I opt for a piece of fruit or low fat yoghurt. I feel even better when I WI and prove its worth it. Well done all of us :-D
