I use psyllium husk ( i get mine off ebay about £3 for 250g), yes it looks like saw dust.
I make porridge with it.
put the shake mix and 1 tbs of husk in a measureing jug add hot water upto around the 300ml level and whisk until smoothe leave for a min to thicken and there you have you hot filling breakfast.
Ive used vanilla shake, chocolate shake, strawberry and banana.
