Pub measure of vodka

Does anybody know if a pub measure of vodka is 35ml 4 syn or 25ml 2.5 syn, I really dont know, but i had 4 on saturday and counted as 4 syns each as id saved for that.

In Great Britain a single pub measure of spirits is 25ml.

In Northern Ireland a single pub measure of spirits is 35ml.

Some pubs in england use 35ml, but its quite uncommon

In Scotland every pub I have been in uses 35ml measures I thought that was just standard??x

I must say most places Ive noticed use the 35ml (I'm in London).

I always assumed it was so they are automatically selling more thus make more money

I know the standard in England used to be a 1/6 gill which is just short of 25ml but now about half the bars serve 35ml instead, you will need to check with your local to see what they sell.

In Spain there isn't a set measure they just keep pouring on top of the ice until the glass is 2/3rds full so I have had to give up spirits in bars completely.arty0036:
