    hello all!

    tomorrow i am joining SW with the intention of completing my weightloss.

    I started my weightloss journey in January with a total food replacement diet. It was extreme but then my weight had rocketed causing me back and hip problems. My mum had suggested it to me and i thought i need a good old kick up the bum and motivation.

    So from January 5th-14th March i did my TFR and lost 2 stone 10lbs. My main goal was to lose 4 stone. I meant to do 3 stone on TFR but got quite sickly so decided to move to SW earlier as health comes first!

    I have done over a weeks refeed. I feel positive and have started to exercise. I think SW is gonna help me get to that 4 stone loss :)

    Hope to get to know all the cool people on this board and pick up loads of yummy recipes and have a laugh.

    went to my group today!

    A lot has changed on SW since my last go at it! Theres Extra Easy and you can now save syns up! I am well excited because it means i can socialise without being a diet bore and God knows i have been enough of a diet bore for all of 2009!

    Bit of bad news though, my leader warned me that i may gain weight for a few weeks :eek: This is cos of my TFR i have been following. Though I have been eating for 1 week and a half, so i can't see why i would suddenly shoot up. Nevermind she said it will come off :)

    so today was day 1. Went well, i felt comfortable eating lots of stuff, so far i have been restricted by the Lipotrim refeed diet.

    I think SW is going to really help me get that weight off. I am so in the zone (i was with LT!) and happy to continue with healthy eating and being 'good'. Though with syns i can eat naughty but be good at the same time :D

    Was a bit slack with the exercise. I haven't had any time off work since xmas - so i am getting exhausted. I need a bit of rejuvenation then i will be right as rain. I am also going to stop taking driving lessons on friday night. Its knackering - and today i was all over the shop. I am sure the instructor thinks i am a bimbo! He assumed i did a job very unlike what i do in reality! I soon put him straight but thought to myself i really have to get it together!

    Looking forward to tomorrow - having a chicken tikka for dinner - SW stylee :)

    today was nice :) I had scrambled eggs for breakfast and chicken tikka for dinner!

    Not used any syns so far but that may chnage in a couple of days - i know that the evil PMT cravings are due to start anytime soon! LOL

    the tikka last night was lovely - though next time best to just use curry powder rather than fiddling with 10 different spices!

    I am feeling really good about SW, I weighed myself yesterday and can see that the pund i gained after going onto food from my TFR has gone and so has another! I feel very in control and loving SW food! My hubby is being amazing (he's the house chef) and getting excited about the recipes he is going to follow so we can eat lovely SW food :D

    I feel like this last stone will go and i will reach target :D I mean how can i not? When i am enjoying the food and feel happy with myself - its all good!

    cheers guys for the lovely messages :D Its weigh in tomorrow - but i think it will be STS as the dreaded P is due any day. Thats fine - next week will be good news instead!

    Today has been good and manic! Manic cos theres a lot going on at work and good cos i did well in my driving lesson today! I didn't get scared, I was in control and didn't freak out when the usual eejits overtake me! (one lady was not even looking where she going when she overtook me!)

    Anyway my first week on SW has been good. Realised i have used NO syns at all! I am so used to a restricted diet that i have been out of control - on the free food!

    Hopefully next weigh in is going to be great news!

    whats more you even have your own personal chef!
    have you visited the recipe section there're some gorgeous menus / recipes on there well worth a peek xxx

    1/4/09 - Weigh In!

    Well today went well, i lost 1.5 lbs! :D Considering my consultant warned me i may STS or gain - i think that was a great result!

    My consultant was pleased too :)

    cheers - very very pleased with myself. When you come off a liquid diet you get scared that you will put it all back on (well thats what all the nasty people tell you all the time you are on it) so i had much fun telling EVERYONE who had made negative comments that i was still losing weight and eating loads :D

    5/4/09

    Purple angel has NOT been an angel :rolleyes: I have been a bit cheaty on friday and saturday!

    Friday night i was starving, planning my meal -when hubby walked in with fried chicken and chips. I was very naughty having one drunstick and a good few handfuls of fries :copon: Even worse i made SW chips which were delicious - i cheated for nothing!

    Saturday - i had a teeny brekkie - we were out and happened to be near our fave Turkish restaurant.....you can guess what happens next! and when i got home i nicked one of hubby's cornettos :copon:

    Now - i am not one for excuses but my flipping period is 3 days late - and my PMT has turned me into a weird eating monster :( All i want to do is bloody eat! I have recognised this and woke up today with the decision that i will gladly stuff my face......with free food! It doesn't matter if i am constantly eating - as long as its free :)

    So back on track today - had a lovely massive brekkie and hubby is making me a whole mackerel for dinner! LOL. If that doesn't fill me then not sure what will!

    I am still the eating monster! But i am eating free food and big portions of it so i can be full! I ahve been good today and only used 1 syn so that should help pay off my 'syn debt' from the weekend!

    Probably going to have a bloody awful weigh in this week....my period is 4 days late :( I feel weak and crap with it! Usually i would eat some meat but its hard to get syn free meat at lunchtime unless you prepared it yourself. So trying to get my energy up on a green day...which worked well with my syn free chips.....mmmmm. My fave syn free meal is egg, chips and beans! It really feels like i am not on a diet at all!

    Well done to you, I came off CD after 3 weeks and a loss of 19lbs and went straight on to SW with a loss of 2lbs in first week, it can be done you just have to not binge and blow it.

    ok this is going to be whiney but hell i have just been through and still going through 2 weeks of sodding PMT!

    my period is late....still and stupidly i weighed myself and HORROR :eek: put on 2lbs :eek: WTF?!

    I know 'star' week as its oh so politely called can make you gain but i have NEVER gained this much :( I feel awful now - (not like giving up - no way!) BUT depressed and out of control with my weight all.

    All year i have either lost weight or stayed the same (all of 2 weeks) and now i see the scales go the wrong way.

    I am really scared that this is the start of something wrong - like me going back to obesity......sigh

    You can do this purpleangel and I'm sure you're stronger than this. It's bloody hard work being a woman sometimes but you'll get there. Stay strong. x
