Race for Life - advice please

I started LL on Wednesday (3rd). I am doing the Race for Life on Sunday June 21st - the 10k one!

I am not a stranger to this sort of thing. A couple of weeks ago I did the Sue Ryder Midnight 10K walk and completed it in 1 hour and 45 mins - my sister and I came in 11th & 12th out of over 800 women!

Does anyone have any tips or advice to make sure I feel ok throughout?

(other than the usual drink plenty of fluid)

good on you for doing the 10k one
i did the 5k one a few weeks ago

i did take a bar with me as i thought if i felt funny i could nibble on it on the way round - but i was fine.

i had a shake an hour before so i was full, but not too full

I have done the 5k for the last 4 years so decided this year we would do the 10k. I have part ran and walked the others but not sure how the running will go this year!
