Race for Life!


has started again!!

After losing about 8 stone last year on LL, and now trying to lose the rest on SW, I rather rashly have agreed (& signed up for) this years Race for Life.

The furthest and fastest I have ever run is to the toilet after one too many litres of water on aformentioned diet!!! LOL!!!

What the heck am I in for???

Better get both training and dieting hard......

i am also signing up for RFL this year, but last night i got talked into doing 'hearts first jog' for BHF as well. which is only 4 weeks away. but i am only on week 2 of the training schedule [gulps]
The thing you should remeber is that it will do you good and will also BHF.
My only tip to you is don't go to fast at first then at the end you give a final burst.
What distance are you going. I did the moon walk in London 3 years ago which was a haklf marathon 13.4miles) did it in 4hrs 27mins totallyu flakes out at the end ecause I didn't drink enough and if you are going a good distance you must eat energy food.
