    Hello guys!
    Where to start.....As some of you may know I have been waiting to start CD (change of job and location etc!)So on the lead up to starting my diet I have been eating low calorie so I can get some excess weight off and have lost 1lb shy of a stone.
    Now the fun begins...!I am visiting my CDC tomorrow for my weigh in and to buy my packs.I can't wait! I will then start on Monday (2nd May)
    So at my slimest I was always around 9st 4-7lbs and at my heaviest(which is when I dabbled with LL)I was 16st 2lb.
    So now I am about 14st 8lb.
    I havnt always been overweight.It was only when I got to about 18/19 that I piled on the pounds.Lazyness,boredom,comfort.
    I then had a couple of long term boyfriends one which was an amazing cook who always practised at home and I would gladly be the tasting guinea pig!
    Anyway so to cut a long story short(I tend to go off on these things!)
    I am looking to get down to around 11st maybe 10st 7lb but I guess I will know once I am there.
    I have a 2 week holiday to Cape Verde booked the last two weeks of June with my newish OH,its our first one together.
    So not alot to loose and I would love to loose the bulk of it by then so I look half decent in a bikini!
    Although I am doing this 100% for myself as I have got to the point where I realise I am wasting my 20's (I am 24)being overweight and unhappy,my OH (33) has unknowingly given me a massive push to do it. Now I know alot of you may shake you heads and disagree with what im about to say but I am very honest and dont beat about the bush and think its good to be as honest as possible when writing this blog for future reference as to how I felt at the time *breathes*.My OH has a very good job,earns a much better wage than myself,this get me a bit as Ive always earnt an above average wage but I can't compete with this.It makes me feel a bit bad. Then there is his ex-beautiful I mean gorgeous face,very slim a size 8/10 judging from photos.Also did a similar job to him so nice car,good wage etc.
    Now at this point your all thinking its all material.Yes it does sound it but I am the least materialistic person you will ever come across.But for some reason these things make me want to be slim-for my own self esteem and to make my OH think he's bagged a hottie!!
    Ill stop there as I can go on all day,it feels good to share and write all this down(if not a little nuts!)
    So only 4 days to go until the start of CD and the last week of low calorie solids!
    I hope you will all follow my nutty diary as I will most certainly need the support of you lovely ladies and gents!!

    P.S.
    I will be getting some before pics on shortly but im having difficulty locating some full length ones!
    Im going to ask my cdc to take on tomorrow full length!

    Good luck with your journey. Your loss already is great!

    Whatever your reasons are for doing it, they are your reasons and perfectly valid.

    Have a good and low cal weekend and I'm sure Monday will be here soon enough!

    Im glad its not just me who feels like that!
    I know what you mean about wanting to be 100% comfortable in the nuddie! I think it would make so much more of a difference than I actually realise!
    Thank you for your lovely words and also for the signature instructions...I'll try my best to work it out...I'm such a dohnut sometimes!

    For whatever reason you are losing, if it's important to you then it's fine. I am losing as I feel my weight is holding me back both career and relationship wise as it strips me of confidence. I have a good job but need an extra push to 'feel good' and I've been single for 5 years as I simply don't socialise out of my 'safe zone' at friends houses etc.

    Good luck with your journey - it's so nice to see other people online in the same boat!!!

    Morning everyone,
    Well today is the day I get weighed and pick up my supplies!(Although not starting until Monday!) I can't wait,it will really feel real then.
    One thing I am thinkin is I hope I dont have to change my ticker as I know everyones scales are different(only if its less than I wont mind!)
    But I shall update you all this evening after I have been and hopefully my ticker will be staying put or moving down after the weigh in hehe!

    Hi guys!
    Ok so I weighed in today and got all my things for ten days so I am ready to start on Monday!
    The scales showed 5lbs more than mine :( but I was expecting that anyway so I will now move my ticker.....
    I got 20 chocolate tetras,5 strawberry and 5 banana. I cannot wait to start loosing this weight....roll on holiday bikini body....aaaah!!

    Ok so here goes DAY 1!!!
    So I've had a lovely weekend,me and my OH went out on Friday,we went to a bar and shared a bottle of red before going to try out the new Thai restuarant that we had booked a table for.BEAUTIFUL! This will be our last meal out together for a long while!We then went onto a club and got a wee bit tipsy!(Thought id make the most of it!)
    Saturday was a lovely chilled out day in the sun.I met some more of my OH family on the Sunday,so we had a drive to Essex and had my last ever meal(well for a long while!)a roast!Yum!

    Ok so today is day 1.I am feeling very very positive,although I am not naive in thinking it will all be plain sailing as I am sure I will have wobbly days!Which is when you lovely girls and guys will get a virtual ear bashing and for support! Speaking of support,I cant fault my OH,he is being absolutely fantastic about it.Really really supportive.He knows how much it means to me,I have been going on about it for the last 4 weeks!! So I my plan is to be 100% for 7 weeks,by which time Im hoping to get the bulk of my weight off and loose 2 stone.After the 7 weeks its holiday time in Cape Verde for 2 weeks where I plan to steer clear of carbs and get right back on it after my holiday.
    Hindsight is wonderful thing though!So I will just try and take it day by day.So far so good,I think today will be rather easy.Its sunny and were going to spend the day outdoors...hopefully ill top up my base tan!

    OH NO!!!
    I have just properly measured my height and I am over 5ft 9!!Im actually 5ft 9.5 :( good for my BMI as ive just lost a bit....bad for me im taller than I thought !

    I wish I was 5ft 9.5! That would make my bmi 28 and not 36!! :)

    Hey!
    Enjoying reading your diary - we're similar age and height and stuff, I say I'm 5'9" but others say 'No, you're taller than that'.... I don't want to find out the truth in case that is true! I would LOVE to be all girly and petite! Never gonna happen though, so I'll just keep working for tall and slim....

    Do you mind me asking, how does your weight relate to dress sizes? The smallest I've ever been was a 14/16 at 13st... I would love to be a 14, maybe even a 12, what weight do you think this relates to?

    Hahahaha totally get the putting on weight in a comfy relationship thing.... I was 13st when I met my OH, and since that the gym took a backseat in favour of nights in with wine, choc and takeaway on the sofa!

    Your reasons for losing weight are perfectly valid, and to some extent I think most of us, even though we know we're loved by the OH, want to keep impressing them, know that we feel like a hottie for them and make sure they think so too!

    Hi hun!
    I know I wouldn't mind being shorter,thats half the reason I properly measured my height in the hope I actually was 5ft 8!But no....! The plus side is its taken a bit off my BMI!
    Of course I dont mind you asking re dress sizes.At the moment at my current weight im an 18 on bottom (that is scary writing that down!)and im a 14/16 on top as I tend to have a smallish waist.When I was 13st 2 I was a very loose 16 and comfy 14 on the bottom.On top I was a 12.For a few years I didnt weigh myself so its hard to gauge at what weight I wore size 14,16 and so on.But I can say at my slimmest I was around 9st 7 and 10st and was a size 10/12 I then was a size 14 for a couple of years,but at a guess I was probably around 12ish stone?I think a 12 is totally achieveable but being taller I think you have to try harder to maintain the weight as naturally we carry more(weight).I reckon for myself 11-12st would take me to a size 12.
    It seems being taller means that you are one size bigger than your shorter friends even if you weight is similar?Its confusing :s!
    I ditto everything you say about OH and takeaways and wine...oh I love my wine although saying that we are moire suckers for eating out rather than take outs-both equally as naughty hehe!

    Is this your first time in CD?How long have you been doing it for?

    Back on Cambridge....
    We also love eating out.... just eating in general! We're moving in together in a couple of months, and we have both vowed to eat more healthily once we can get our own kitchen (we both live in shared houses atm) and can actually enjoy cooking together more of the time.
    It is my first time doing CD, my goal is 11st7, so I'm hoping that will take me to size 12/14 territory. Am currently 15st3 and 16 on top, and 16/18 bottom....
    It's going OK, I'm so naughty though I fall off all the time. Am reading the Beck diet solution now though as well, so hopefully that will help sort my head out and help me reduce cravings!!! still, I think to myself, it's been 7 weeks and I've lost 25lbs. It's not a CD record, but better than I could ever have done on any other diet!
    Might go and have my soup I think, then have one left for later.... the hunger pangs are starting to really get to me now!!!
