Heya Guys,

I have seen on some posts that abbreviations for family members etc are being used.

I get that MIL is mother in law etc but what are the other ones like

DH? is that darling husband ? lol
I think there are ones used for daughters and sons aswell but can't remember what they are!

Just very intrigued! haha

Yes, DH is Darling, or dear, Husband. (which is why I refer to mine as the old man, because he's not such a darling lol). DP is darling partner, then sons & daughters are DS & DD

It's like being in a foreign country without a phrase book!! You have to make wild guesses about what people are talking about, end up getting it wrong 90% of the time.
