Reaching Target in 2020

Day 797 - Monday 6th July 2020
Today, I saw 2 neighbours who have not seen me for over 6 months and they both told me that I have lost weight since December - I don't think, I have lost weight but look slimmer for sure as I have been doing some exercise. One told me I look very thin - I had to laugh as me thin??. I need to learn to accept compliment gracefully.

B - Tomato, olive & onion pate with an egg on WM toast (310)
D - Egg & cheese salad ( lettuce, cue, tom, pepper, 2 eggs, 3 cubes of cheese, apple, olives) - (260)
S - cup cake- probably over my calorie allowance for the day - it was from a local bakery so no nutritional values shown on the pack lets say (400)
Went to a neighbour and she gave me this cake to eat. I could not refuse as she would get upset. Heaven knows how many calories in that little thing made with butter. Grapes (60), pear (70)
I was going to have tuna & jacket potato for dinner but have to rethink after the cupcake. only have 260 calories left
F - 2L water, 2 black coffee, 2 black tea
E - 9,500 steps and loads of gardening
Total Calories = 1,100

Day 798 - Tuesday 7th July 2020
Today, I saw another neighbour on my walk & she told me I look much slimmer since she saw me last. This is the 4th person in 2 days who told me that. I must be doing something right then. Well chuffed with that.
L - IKEA meatballs, mashed potato, jam & sauce (650). I added 100 calories more as the person serving me, looked at me & put more mash on my plate - he must have thought I was malnourished- haha:D:D
S - 3 biscuits (110), grapes (60)
F - 3 black coffee, 2 black tea, 1/2L water
Too tired to go downstairs, let alone contemplating eating dinner. I can do with less calories today to balance that butter cake I had yesterday.
E - 11,200 steps
Total Calories = 820

Day 799 - Wednesday 8th July 2020
B - Cottage cheese & home made jam on WM toast and sprinkled with seeds, grapes (395)
L - Tuna jacket potato with salad (480)
S - Mango (100), nectarine (60), pkt crisps (150)
F - 4 black tea, 1L water
E - 22,130. Decided to walk to town as was meeting twice today. It was a pleasant walk but coming back up the hill was a bit too hot but I made it home.

Bought some nice chicken pieces today and thinking of making a lovely curry tomorrow.
Total Calories =1,185

Day 800 - Thursday 9th July 2020

Start weight - 223 lbs (15s 13 lbs)
Current weight - 153.5 lbs (10s 13.5 lbs)
Loss to date =69.5 lbs

Lost 2.5lbs this week which is excellent news and i have achieved my old goal of 154 lbs.

B - Scarmbled eggs & cheese on WM toast, tbs butter (650)
L - Homus with WM roll (500)
D - Chicken & aubergine curry with rice & salad.
I was not going to eat anything after the chocolate disaster but I felt really sick and woozy.
S - Lots of chocloate and I don't know why I ate them. Since eating them, I have had tummy ache and feeling sick
F - 1L water, 2 black tea, 2 herbal tea
E - 5,000 steps and Cut a tree. Initially, I thought, it was one trunk but once I started I discovered there were 10 massive trunks hidden under the leaves. Now I am really exhausted.
By mistake, I deleted my pedometer app and lost all the history. However, I installed a new one that might be better.
It has not been my day as you can see.
Think early night for me.

Day 801 - Friday 10th July 2020
Still feeling sick from yesterdays so I am going to be a bit gentle with my self
B - White stilton, grapes, 3 dates and WM toast (380)
L - Home made kebabs in pitta and salad (cue, tom, beetroot, radish, peppers and mayo) - (460)
D - Ate a head of fresh lettuc kie - so soft and melts in the mouth & 2 kebabs (170)
S -Nectarine (60), pkt of 3 biscuits- I like these as they are in individual packets (110)
F - 3 black tea, 2L water, large black coffee
E -11,000 steps. Like my new pedometer app. Took a walk first thing in the morning and my sickness feeling disappeared.
Went for a walk and on the way back saw neighbour I have not seen for ages - they were in their garden and gave me some lettuce, courgette and eggs. All fresh and home grown. A dozen fresh eggs so I ma boiling the ones I had from supermarket to pickle them - lots of pink eggs on the menu in the next week or so.

B - Porrdidge made with ginger, apple, apricot, prune, tbs butter and sprinkled with seeds (290) - Deliiiishhh
L -Watermelon & cheese (330)
D - Chicken & veg lettuce parcels (chicken, garlic, ginger, tbs butter, carrot, mange tout, peppers, chili sauce, pepper mint) - (345)
S - 1/2 apple (30), pkt biscuits (110), boiled sweet (20). I don't want the biscuits but every afternoon I pop in to check on a neighbour and she insist giving a coffee & something to eat - these biscuits are lowest calorie things she has - so I reserve 110 Cal's for that every day.
F - 4 Black tea, 1L water
E - 12,200 steps. lots of gardening
Total Calories = 1,125

Thank you. Who knows haha perhaps I needed it.
My problem is I push myself too much & when I don't feel well I blame it on the food- like cutting that tree. Now I am chopping it up for taking to the tip & cut the trunks for winter wood.

I try to vary my food in my own little way so I don't get bored. Also like experimenting to come up with simple recipes. After all none of us have that much time to spend in the kitchen.

I've hit a roadblock. I've been stuck around this weight for AGES, so drastic action and I've swapped to Slimfast (but only for a couple of weeks) to see if I can kick start it off again. I know having someone else count the calories for you is cheating, but I needed to do something.

I was stuck with SW so changed to CC for a couple of weeks & I have lost a few pounds.
You are braver than I am using slimfast - I cannot stand the smell. If I was going to use meal replacement then I would make my own shakes & soups.

On my walk today, I realised that my leggings are so Nagy around my bum & thighd.
B - Chocolate yogurt(170)
L - chicken& aubergine curry with rice & salad (450)
D - Boiled egg on toast (210)
S - Nectarine (60), Hazelnut brownie (115), watermelon (175), boiled sweets (20)
F - 4 Black tea
E - 9,500 steps, lots of gardening again
Total Calories = 1,200

Yes that yogurt is good. Next time I put it in bowl so you can see it - it like a choc dessert
Got 3 more portions of curry left. Yes make your own curry. I use a curry paste -1/2 jar (420 Cal's) but I get 4-5 portions from it.
Managed to chop up the tree into logs. Everyone laughed at me - got a small electric saw, almost like an electric knife. It is good though.
