My CDC has given me some to check whether I am in ketosis as my weight loss seems very slow. Have today (to cover last 2 weeks) and I've lost about 3lbs which is disappointing.

So I've done the stick and it shows the second pink box which reads Faible 0.15 - so does this mean I am in ??

    Thanks
    Gemx

If it has changed colour from peach then yes, you are in ketosis. Peach is negative, any pink is positive for the purposes of this diet.
don;t worry what it says on the pot, welcome to the Pink Stick club!!!

Hi Gem, yep you are in Ketosis. Even though 'Failable' is one of the lighter pinks this is GOOD news, the darker the pink it is indicate you may be dehydrated, so well done.

As long as its darker than 'Neg' 0, then you are in ketosis. Well done and good luck with your loss. x

    Thanks ladies, phew!!!

I'm STILL struggling going to the 'loo' and have low energy so my CDC suggested checking ketosis.

I've used the Fibre 89 with no success and am waiting for powder psyllium husks to arrive and give that a go. Don't want to do to the dr's as I'm guessing they will tell me to stop the diet - which I do not want to do.

I'm drinking 4 litres of water a day so can't understand why I have the problem, CDC also suggested Senna or something else which I've forgotten the name of!!!!!

Fingers crossed, cause I won't like the rubbish loss!! It may help being weighed in the morning next week.

    help

Hi sorry to butt in but when I had a problem going to the toilet. My CDC suggested as a last resort was to boil some dried prunes with a couple of sweetners, then when cool enough drink the juice ( one glass ) should be enough to get you moving !!!!!!!

I'm a restarter this is my 2nd day feeling ok, just so damn cold though the headache is not so bad today.

Psyllium Husks are brilliant! I have been taking them for about 5 days and make a 'porridge' each morning with one of my shakes - 6fl oz of water and 2-3 heaped tsp of psyllium husk.
Have been regular and 'normal' ever since.....

    What a blessing!

Good luck, hope you get it soon

Thanks Mikki, that's great to know, do you use warm water? do you think it will work warm with strawberry or fruits of the forest flavour?!!!!

Gem, I use it straight from the kettle - packet in, husks in and then boiling water....

have had toffee and walnut, fruits of the forest, cappuccino, vanilla and chocolate... loved them all.....
Just like having 'real' breakfast when i sit with my children.....
experiment with the levels of water that suit you..... it can be really thick if you don't have enough water.....
if you add too much water, another tsp of husk won't kill you... just only do it once a day or you might end up in the loo for ever!!! LOL......

    (hmmmmm, now THERES a thought........)
    only kidding!!

    Good luck

    Mikki xx

sorry to but in also, but i thought zero wasn't allowed????

i've tried phsyllium husks in hot choc it went like all gooey and thick. obviously too much in and it was yuk. threw it out. but saying that i could never have fibrgel either.
tried senna it gave me gripey tummy
my CDC suggested dulcolax i have one every other bed time and sure enough in the morning i'm good to go !!

i think everyone is different and you just have to experiment to find whats right for you hun !!

ps i love splitting my capuchino into two and have them hot for breakfast and brunch. yummy !!

i've fell out with tomato soup too, ew ew ew

good luck in your weight loss
