    Hi all!

I have a long way to go until maintenance, but am curious as to the reality of what it involves.

I appreciate we are all different and some will find it easier than others, but do the majority of you find that the CD journey has equipped you enough to control your eating habits? After all, we all chose this diet for a reason!

What works for you? Is it making a conscious effort to reduce portion size? Is it totally avoiding some foods? Is it easy to pick the healthy option?

I love CD and am loving the results...I would just love to hear from those of you in maintenance as to how you really find it! I would like to be armed with as much advice as possible now, so that I can re-train myself and my brain for a different way of life!

Thank you for reading this....hope it is not too much waffle!!

Well done all on acheiving your targets...you are all an inspiration. :p...I intend to join you in a few months!!

    xx

    Was Cambridge, now maintaining
    It went half way ;)

    Yep.
    Nope

Easier than I thought, but that doesn't mean I always pick the healthiest option. I pick what's right for me at the time, making an informed choice.

Some parts I found hard, other parts I found easy. The most important thing for me was to stay focused. Never letting a slip off the curb turn into lying on the road in a coma for days.

Now i don't feel like I'm maintaining at all. It's just me...my lifestyle. Just as in the past 'me' was the person who had a bad relationship with food, ate too much, binged too often. Now 'me' is a person who enjoys food, but only eats what I need and gets on with my life.

    Highly recommended :D

When you get closer to goal, or even now, start reading the CD maintenance section. Never too early to start preparing in the 'head' department :)

You should so go read the maintenence section. I did this from the start to keep myself focused. Anyone there will answer all your questions or even by reading what others post you may get your answers. It's good to be thinking ahead x

Thank you both for that and I will read the maintenance section as advised!

KD - if I can acheive what you have then I will be a very happy bunny!
