Hi everyone feeling really down today this was my second WI and I only lost 3lb :-(
I lost 9.5 last week so I only needed 4.5 for my stone and I missed it by 1.5lb.
I guess I should be happy it's still a loss since it's TOTM but so disheartened x

Almost a stone in 2 weeks is AMAZING!! it's very very common for people not to have a big loss on the second week and you've already said it was your TOTM so don't worry too much. You'll have a big loss next week and definitely hit the stone mark. You'll be well on your way for the hen do :)

Hunni, the others have already said it, but it's worth saying again...

3lbs is a good loss. I don't know how much you have to lose but if you've got somewhere between 3 stones to 4 stones to lose, the most you'll generally lose each week will be between 3-4 pounds - and if you've got less than 3 stones to lose, it's likely you won't regularly lose more than 3 pounds a week.

I know it feels like you're eating next to nothing - but even if you were actually eating nothing, you wouldn't lose more than a pound to a pound and a half more per week than you are now!

But 3-4 pounds a week is so much more than you can lose on a conventional low calorie style diet (once you get past week one). I know you want to see the back of those extra pounds (I know I do!), but it's going to take a little while.

Cambridge is good, but it can't work miracles.

So in the meantime... :happy096: for your weight loss and well done on sticking with it this far.

My friend started same day and 1/2 lb lighter than me and we both the same height she lost 11lb and 4.5 so she got hers today and was out drinking at weekend, she only takes 2 Cambridge meals a day whereas I'm having the proper 3 it's totally unfair! Lol I guess it's partly jealousy that she got it and I didn't xx

Yes - but if she's cheating already (and only having 2 Cambridge products and drinking is bending the rules pretty significantly!!), she's not going to last as long on this diet as you are, so you should have the last laugh. You're doing it properly - she isn't. And I know it's hard not to compare - but try not to. We're all different, hun. The chances are you'll lose more than she does next week and it'll all even out. :hug99:

Not at all - I know exactly how you feel. Just keep the faith and hang in there, hun. It'll be well worth it in the end, I promise.
