Really fell off the wagon today

Feeling really run down and tired and cold and I cracked.

Had homemade stew with Guinness, potato and pearl barley in, suet dumplings and homemade whole meal bread with butter.

Any other time it would be quite a healthy meal but it turned into a bit of a carb fest and I know I will regret it in morning :(
 
hi Stepanees, Don't worry it's done now, we all have breaks now and again (well i have). Just get back on the plan. But I've got to say that is the exact meal I'm aiming for in December LOL, a stew with dumplings has been on my mind ever since the weather turned.
 
While on this journey, I learnt that the quicker I got back on after falling of the wagon was the trick. Instead of giving up completely, view I as a blip and continue tomorrow. No matter how many times you fall, success is about getting up, wiping the dust and carrying on.
