Really really struggling today :(

I am having such a hard time today. I really ready really miss food. I am vegetarian and I'm even craving chicken and fish.

I have had a meal replacement bolognese tonight to see if that helped the cravings but it didn't. I just really really really want a tuna and cheese sandwich. I'm so hungry I could cry.

despite a14lb loss week one, I just don't care.

how do u deal with the cravings and hunger??

Hi hun dont give up you have done so well to just give up now . Its more likely mental hunger rather than physical and its hard to know the difference .
I totally understand the difficulty your having im on day one of the ******** diet but they dont have a forum of there own and ive done lighter life in the past so know that the cainbridge exante lipotrim are all simlar .
I know ive just got to get through these few days and i will be in ketosis but i nearly gave up tonight saying to myself i will start monday lol i had to argue with my inner naughty me and after say 1 hr the craving went and i had my bar .
I should really just stick to the shakes for the 1st few days like i did in lighter life but these say you can have a bar / meal pack on day one even though they have slightly more carbs . Im hungover too today so not the best day to start but i didnt want to put it off any longer . Im doing race for life tomorrow too eek !
Anyway just wanted to say keep it up coz i know if your anything like me once youve had even just a bite of that sandwich you will realise what a mistake you have made and beat yourself up about it . Takecare we can do it xxx

the bolognese is one bought from the avidlite website. It's a total meal replacement product and 50cals more than a cambridge soup.

I keep thinking I can just go back on slimming world but I'm not very god at sticking to it! Hopefully it's just a blip and I will be more focused tomorrow..

darn i was hoping it was a new cambridge product, i live on choc mint only, a nice bolognese would have been a welcome addittion

My other half is doing ss. She replaces a cambridge product with one of these meal replacement meals every evening and stays in ketosis.

I also wish cambridge would offer something like this.

I would guess the reason CD don't offer it is because it's about breaking relationships with perceived 'real' food. For me, having some kind of low calorie meal would be just as damaging as eating something with a higher calorie content - I would just start eating generally :(

Every time you feel hungry, fill your glass with water and drink it. Do something else, anything to distract your thoughts about eating. Maybe have a google on distraction techniques for weight loss and see if anything helps - even reading them will stop you wanting food ;)

Keep going - your body quickly learns new habits and you will find the days flying by and you won't even be thinking about your next meal (unless it's a CD one :D )

I think it will get easier from this week as I am finally in Ketosis and will be going back to work tomorrow. (I have been ill this week, which didn't help!).

I had a SS+ meal of tuna and salad leaves today and that really helped with the cravings, so fingers crossed I'll be ok from now!
