recipe for sweet chilli sauce

Hi all

Have trawled the forum but can't find the recipe some people have mentioned for sweet chilli sauce

Can anyone help?

Hello there,
I'm not sure what the others were referring to but I simply use this (French) recipe:
fresh chilli
garlic
1 tablespoon tinned tomatoes
1 tablespoon sweetener (to your taste)
I think I've put vinegar in before too - I taste, and add things ;)
 
I make ellies all the time its fab, perks up your chicken no end x enjoy x
 
Trying this when out of attack! Sounds lush!!
 
the sweet chilli dipping sauce i make is
1 red chilli finely chopped
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp cornflour (tolerrated)
3 tbsp sweetener
about 100ml water

i just bung it all in a jug and blast in the microwave till it reduces and thickens

eta as forgot the sweetner lol

The sweet and sour sauce is delish but would add less fanta as mine was too runny, still ate the whole thing through the week haha x

Amazing!! Need to make it thinner to mix thru I think!! How many tolerates/ how much cornflour permitted a day?!
 
think the only tolerated is the cornflour... and thats minimal
 
How much is your permitted allowance for cornflour for a day?

sorry... 15g = 1 tablespoon = 1 tolerated (and we're allowed two, from Cruise phase, IF we're happy with our loss and not stalling...)
(I have different size tablespoons, mind, which is why I weigh - also I can't cheat and overfill!)
 
Thanks maintainer- you were always the oracle ;) ive made it with 1tbsp today. I've avoided all tolerateds so far but now I'm on conso I might be ok! X
