I do green days almost every day but decided i needed to give my body a bit of a shock/boost by doing 2 red days in a row (today and 2moro) because i wasn't losing anything!

However i am having a bit of trouble

Firstly i can think of hardly anything for meal ideas! And secondly i have been starving all day!! I have been searching the coudbards all day with no joy lol.

I did a little bit of shopping last night but didnt have much money to spend and couldn't remember what was free on red!! Should have prepared but it was kind of a last minute decision to do a red day.

This is what ive had today:

    Brek: 2 weetabix, (B) banana, milk (A)

Lunch: Bacon omlette. (2 eggs and 2 bacon rashers) 2 Asda meat free burgers.
    Huge bowl of grapes.

Tea: Lettuce, cucumber, tin of tuna, 2 slices of ham, pickled onions. Small muller light.

Snack: Bran flakes, banana. (B) small muller light.

Syns: Crackerbread, burgers, hot chocs. Total syns = 9.

I have no idea what i am gonna have 2moro :(

And i have to have a red day 2moro as im having a night out for my birthday and i dont want to feel all bloated all night which i always do on green days!

Chicken wrapped in bacon is tasty an simple. You could do that with a B of potatoes and/or a big salad or plate of veggies ..

Hope you have a lovely birthday night out - are you eating out, or just 'out'?

    Hi hun :D

Do you usually eat 2 bananas a day? I'm only asking because I've heard alot of people say it can slow down your weight loss. I'm not big on bananas so I don't know, but it might be worth investigating :D

Hey, yeah i do, i love them! lol. Yeah i have been wondering about bananas, wasn't sure what the score was with them. I will try to just have 1 a day then, or do you think i should be cutting them out altogether? I find i need to have one with my weetabix though or im still hungry and tend to pick on at things!

    OOh .. 21 :D I remember that night - it was a *lot* of fun :D

B choice could be 227g jacket spud or 198g new potatoes - both would be nice with this sort of meal :)

Oh, and should you be interested, I eat one or two bananas most days (and always have done) - yes, there are foods that make people retain water, but everything in moderation and you should be fine - I would't worry about cutting them out just yet ;)

I wouldn't cut out something completely if you love them. Some people might be fine eating two bananas a day, but maybe you're not, so I would just try going to one a day for two weeks and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't, scoff those bananas! :D lol

    You'll have a fab birthday!!!

I was going to mention about bananas too. I only have one or two a week now. Same with grapes. Not one or two a week, that would be silly...I mean once or twice, I eat a medium bunch! LOL!

I love doing chicken wrapped in bacon too. It's so easy. Nice stuffed with cheese too...especially the garlic and herb cheese, or you can use quark with crushed garlic in.

It's nice marinading a turkey steak in lemon and coriander and serving with a big pile of roast veg (I love roast veg with meat on a red day)

Sausage (or meat) casserole is v easy...just bung it all in the pan and whack in the oven for a few hours. Even nicer if you've got a slow cooker. That's given me an idea actually! Might do that tonight.

How about kebabs? Any meat and veg on a stick - gotta love that.

Home made burgers...have a HEb wholemeal bun and some cheese and bacon and make your own Quarter Pounder :)

Chilli con carne - have a big bowl with cheese on top.

Cottage pie with either swede or butternut squash mash on top, or a HEB of potato...

I like red days! I like green days too. Oh...I just love cooking and eating!

Hope you have a fab 21st Hun :D

Try turkey mince meat with chopped onions and a bit of chilli powder (or lots in my case!!!) make them into burgers, fry with fry light, and have it in a small brown bread bun (B choice) with a grilled rasher of bacon, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce - serve with SW chips (B choice) and a big salad - amazing and really yummy!!! :D :D
