RICE ON RED DAY

    How much boiled rice can I have as a hexb on a red day? Can't find it anywhere-hope they haven't stopped it!

    I'm not 100% on this but pretty sure you can't have rice on a red day as a HEXB x

    Yeah sorry but rice has never been a HEb on red days - it doesn't have enough fibre to qualify, not even the wholegrain rice.

    I'm probably going back to the 1990's in my head when corned beef was free on red too!It did used to be a hex.

    I remember rice on a red day and flipping corned beef quiche lol,did Sw 17 years ago too xx

    Oh i did love my corned beef quiche!!!
    Also my baked potato and tin of macaroni cheese, ah those were the days, I also go back to early 90's on SW!!

    Heinz macaroni cheese is still my favourite comfort food! Those were the days, cubes of corned beef on cocktail sticks with pickled onions.

    I lived on chicken salad , swede and that tinned chicken curry, and corned beef quiche, baked apple and sugar free jelly lost nearly 6 stones after having Son ;)

    You cant have rice on a red day but you could use the meat as heb on a green with lots of rice. X

    thanks for the answers-looked it up in my old books(saddo that I am-still got them) and it was in 1993 that rice was free.-going senile thinking it still applied!
