rice pudding recipe

    can anyone give me a rice pudding recipe. I'm having a green day and i thought i could make some

    If you have a look in the recipe section there are quite a few variations.
    I make mine quite simply.
    I just add boiled rice to some mullerlight and add a couple of spoons of sweetener.
    I eat it warm or cold.

    This is the one i'm going to make as I don't like yoghurt, I got the recipe of here somewhere :D

    2oz pudding rice
    2tbsp sweetner
    500ml semi skimmed milk
    nutmeg (optional)

    cook in pyrex for 1 1/2 hours @ 140 degrees

    makes 2 portions so one portion is Hea its free on green :D

    This is how i'm doing it, only put it in the slow cooker to have it later while i'm watching x factor :D

    I have one in the oven as I type.

    150g pudding rice
    400g skimmed milk
    400g water
    8-10 tbsp sweetener
    vanilla pods

    Clean the rice under running water.
    Spray fry light into dish.
    Plae rice in the dish.
    Put the milk, water, sweetener and vanilla in a saucepan and heat gently until nearly simmering.
    Pour onto rice and mix throughly.
    Cook in oven on 150c for 1.5 hours stirring after the first 30 mins.

    I'll let you know how mine turns out.

    I didn't have vanilla pods, used vanilla flavouring instead and also put nutmeg on the top.

    Serves 4 @ 1.5 syns per serving.
