Rice pudding

Hi all

Was planning on giving the rice pudding a go this afternoon but just been to tesco+couldn't find dessert rice anywhere. Is it possible to just use normal long grain rice or would that just not work?

Pudding rice is usually with the deserts in my local supermarket, where the jellies are etc

i find it somtimes with the rice's and then it can be with the cake baking items too.. x

Yes you could use long grain but because it is less starchy youwill not get quite the same effect. If you have risotto rice that would work.

A friend of mine gave me this recipe, but I haven't tried it yet,

Rice pudding rice with diet cream soda, cook in the microwave until done.
